Venice Marco Polo Airport to Padova
Here are a couple of pictures of just outside the Venice Marco Polo Airport. The left picture is of the bus schedule for the bus that goes to Padova from the Airport.
The left picture above is of the industrial part of Venice on the main land. The right picture is of the old part of Venice on the island.
The left picture was taken from the bus as we were entering Venice. The right picture is of the bus station on the island. This is the only place where you will find cars on the island. It is only a five minute walk from the train station. The bus from the airport to Padova stops here before going on to Padova.
Above are a couple of pictures of the Calatrava Bridge in Venice. This is the newest and fourth bridge to cross the Grand Canal.
Here are another couple pictures taken from the bus as we were leaving Venice.
Here are a couple of pictures of the rail lines on the long bridge from the main land to the island of Venice.
Finally, the Ikea store just outside of Padova. The whole trip on the bus took an hour and ten minutes and cost 4.10 Euro for the seat and 1.30 for luggage.
