Payday... or not

I finally got a bank account today and am emailing the information to the International Relations person so that I can get my first Scholarship payment. Unfortunately, I just got an email from the Secretariat of our program saying that we will get the payment from the university but that she doesn't know when we will get it. Hopefully we will get it soon. I already had to pay this month's rent with my credit card. Every time I use the cards from home I will have to pay the fees and the exchange rate. I am also running out of the Euros that I brought with me. All of the administrative stuff is costing more than I expected. Tomorrow I have to go to the post office to mail a packet for registering for residency and they told me it will cost 30 Euros.
