Search for a church 9-5-10

The search for a church didn’t go quite as well as planned this morning. I left the dorm with the Indian guy I met the other day, Ashok, at about 9:30am. We walked around a little bit until I decided it would probably be a good idea to look at a map. Conveniently enough there are churches marked on the map. We headed down one street but ended up missing and way overshooting the church I was heading for. When we turned around and found it going the other way it was obvious why we had missed it. It was covered in scaffolding for restoration and not open anyways. So, we headed back toward the dorm in a direction that would pass by another church. When we got to this church we went in and found that mass wasn’t to be held until 11am and it was 10:30. We looked around the church a little bit but we decided not to wait since my feet were killing me from all of the walking and I was getting hungry, having waited to have breakfast until after church. At least I know when mass is held at that church for next week. Maybe when I have more time on the internet I will be able to search for a Lutheran Church in Padova. So far on my wanderings about the town I haven’t seen any that are obviously Lutheran.
